Welcome to the Yukon Ski Marathon! This legendary cross country ski race has been reimagined for a new era, blending our rich history with fresh energy and an updated format. Our mission is to bring together skiers from near and far for an unforgettable experience in the breathtaking landscapes of the Yukon.

This year, we're thrilled to announce that the Yukon Ski Marathon has joined the prestigious Northwest Loppet Series. As part of this series, the Yukon Ski Marathon is now connected with other renowned races across the region, offering skiers a chance to challenge themselves and experience unique trails while building community with fellow ski enthusiasts.

Race Notice and Registration

General Race Information

BIB PICKUP : Bib pickup will be at Coast Mountain Sports downtown Whitehorse on March 7th, 2025 from 6:30 to 8:30pm AND on March 8th, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:59am at the Whitehorse Nordic Centre.

SHUTTLE BUS: Complimentary shuttle from downtown Whitehorse to the Whitehorse Nordic Centre. All racers shuttled from the Whitehorse Nordic Centre to the start line.

START TIMES: 44km at 11am, 22km at 12pm and 12km at 1pm

WARMUP AND WAX TESTING is available at the chalet - there will be limited time at the start line.

AID STATIONS will be located on course.

GEAR BAGS: Gear bags will be taken from the start area to the finish line. Changerooms available.

POST RACE FESTIVITIES: Hot food and drink included. Beer garden, music and draw prizes. Category winners recognized.
